CHRIST IS RIEN AND REMEMBER TO LAUGH – Today is Holy Humor Sunday! Got Jokes?

$

HOW HILARIOUS IS YOUR TITHE? – 2 Corinthians 9:7 literally says, “God loves a hilarious giver.” Let’s break out hilariously as we yield our tithes and break with the spirit of Mammon!  Yes, we’ve been seriously behind in our budget since January 2010, but we rejoice in knowing that God will give us the victory.  More details during the Congregational Meeting.

U

ICC ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING AND 2009 REPORT – After today’s Fellowship Hour the ICC family will gather to conduct the Lord’s business.  All ICC members are required to attend (HO JOKING).  Members who have not yet received their 2009 Annual Report should pick their copy immediately after the service and review it before the meeting.  Regular ICC attendees and visitors are welcomed as observers.  Child care will be provided for children up to 9.

ä

FELLOWSHIP HOUR CLEAN UP – Please, cups and papers are still being left around for others to pick up.  No adult or teens wants to be treated like a child but if garbage continues to be left around, puerile measures (look it up!) may have to be taken.  Please be considerate.

40 DAYS OF PRAYER AND FASTING – Beginning tomorrow, April 12 till next All Night Prayer meeting, Friday, May 21, ICC faces the crisis of celebrating Holy Honor Month during 40 days fasting with Flushing churches!  All ICC members must sign up to fast and pray in the kitchen before enjoying their last fellowship meal for the next 5 weeks!!!!!

PRAY FOR OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS

Continue to pray for those with recent health challenges: Maria and Jose Lebron, Carmen Ortiz, and Mr. Ted Krulik.

Pray for salvation of unsaved friends and family members.

Pray for several members of ICC experiencing complex financial hardship.

PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH MINISTRIES & MISSIONS

Tithes and Offerings – so that we meet all our financial responsibilities and growing requests for mission support. God is able to provide above what we can ask or imagine.

PRAY FOR OUR COMMUNITY & CITY

For protection against the outbreak of swine flue and similar viruses.

For P.S. 22 as ICC is in the process of “adopting” this elementary school in our community.  This is part of the city-wide initiative, 20-20 Vision for Schools (see www.2020Schools.net).

For ICC to be faithful in outreach to the Electchester Community.

For effective evangelism through the Murray Hill Neighborhood Association as it reaches out to immigrants and the poor in Jesus name.  Pray for the newly forming after-school program.

For prayer watches to be established to reach each people group in Flushing.

Messianic ministries to the 2 million Jews within the Tri-State region.

Continued exposing of all hidden terrorist cells before they strike.

PRAY FOR OUR NATION

For God’s will to supersede special interests and power grabs as lawmakers are deciding on the national health care bill.  Pray for health care reform that places the needs of the people over the special interests of political parties, insurance companies, the medical and pharmaceutical industries, and big government.  Pray for policies that are in accordance with Bible and the US Constitution.

For repentance for all forms of sexual immorality and the reversal of initiative to legalize same sex marriage on a state by state basis.

Pray that the Obama administration supports Israel in accordance with God’s word and doesn’t cave into those seeking to divide or internationalize Jerusalem.

For protection against terrorism.  For protection against the release of man-made bio-weapons (i.e.: flu viruses and vaccines).

For the impact of the nation’s ailing economy on families, ministries and missions.

Pray for the passage of the House of Representative Bill 1207 to audit the Federal Reserve System and end secrecy.  This is the first step in restoring sound monetary policy in accordance with the US Constitution.  Pray for policies that will successfully stimulate the free-market economy and not further government centralization, inflation and debt.  Pray for economic policies that assist the American people and not just big banks and off-shore financial interests.  Pray against international agreement toward a one-world currency and government.

PRAY FOR OUR WORLD

We need to continue to pray for as well as other nations like Chile, and Taiwan that have been recently devastated by earthquakes.

·  Survivors, the injured and grieving families struggling to survive on a daily basis.

·  For rapid and effective coordination of international aid and disaster relief.  Pray that people and nations give generously.

·  For delivery of vital supplies and services before more people needlessly die.

·  For roads, the airport and other vital infrastructure to be restored.

·  For restoration of civic order and against violence, looting and corruption as relief workers provide aid.

·  For the united witness of the church as it reaches out with love of Jesus to the Haitian people.  For spiritual revival, healing and deliverance from bondage.

·  For favorable weather conditions during this time of crisis.

·  For God’s will to prevail as world leaders pursue solutions to the global economic crisis.

·  For revival in Mexico and the break up of the drug cartels plummeting the nation.
